MARMIFERA SRLSMATERIALS AND BESPOKE STONEWORK
Travertine combines warm shades with a distinctive natural structure. At Marmifera SRLS in Poggibonsi, it becomes solid stone sinks, shower trays, cladding and architectural elements. Sample, cut and finish help define the desired result.
Classic travertine is generally light and beige; Noce has warmer brown shades. Navona and other selections offer further options. Trade names and actual characteristics are checked together: veining, cavities and colour vary from slab to slab.
Filling closes cavities in the stone; honing creates a more even surface, while brushing enhances its texture. Vein-cut and cross-cut stone show different patterns. The final appearance is selected according to the piece and its cleaning and maintenance needs.
For sinks, we define overall dimensions, bowl, holes and tap position. Shower trays require dimensions, drain position and slope details. Travertine may also be considered for thresholds, stairs, flooring, cladding and burial monuments; suitability is checked for each use.
Indicative images: these do not show slabs in stock. Colours and properties are checked on the actual stone.
